The Cambodian Association of Finance and Technology (#CAFT) is proud to welcome Jack Lee, Founder and CEO of Smile Shop – The Leading E-Commerce Platform in Cambodia as its newest committee chair.

Formerly head of the Asia-Pacific region of a Fortune 500 company Haier Home appliances, Mr. Lee will handle/represent the East Asian Digital and Tech Committee. This committee is a platform for information sharing and discussion with matters regarding the East Asian Digital and Tech Industry which aims to foster cooperation within the Cambodian community, relevant regulators, and stakeholders for them to connect and collaborate to joint initiatives and future growth of the Cambodian tech and digital landscape.

The said committee is open to all current and upcoming members hailing from the East Asian Countries that has business representations or do business with entities in Cambodia or have a significant interest in East Asian Digital Tech Community.

“We are very excited and happy for having Jack onboard as the newest committee chair of CAFT,” said Tomas Pokorny Board Secretary General of CAFT. “Now that Jack is with us, we are looking forward to an increase in membership of organizations from East Asia like China, Japan and Korea that will do business in and with Cambodians in terms of finance and technology.”

Jack Lee is a passionate entrepreneur and investor. Highly experienced in overseas cross-cultural business; he also served as the investment director of a Chinese venture capital fund from 2016- 2018. In 2016, Mr. Lee started his investment and entrepreneurship in Cambodia and founded Smile Shop App, a leading e-commerce platform, and was the partner of The First China Trust. He is also a KOL of the Chinese community in Cambodia. He has published a lot of introduction on Cambodia’s economic development and investment environment.
